If you’ve ever read a passage of Scripture and felt there was something deeper just beneath the surface… you’re in the right place.
Learning the Word carries a beautiful double meaning.
On one hand, it’s exactly what it sounds like: a place dedicated to learning the written Word of God — the Bible. Verse by verse, story by story, we’ll dig into the Scriptures together to understand what God is truly saying and how it applies to our lives today.
But there’s an even richer layer.
“Learning the Word” is also about plumbing the depths of the Living Word — Jesus Christ Himself.
Because Jesus is the Word made flesh (John 1:14). The more we study the written Word, the more clearly we see Him: His heart, His character, His incredible love for us, and the amazing things He has done and continues to do.
That’s what this blog and the resources here are all about — helping you not just know about the Bible, but truly know the One the Bible is all about.
I created this space because I believe every believer — whether you’re new to the faith or have walked with the Lord for decades — can grow deeper in their relationship with Christ through careful, Spirit-led study of God’s Word.
Here you’ll find:
Clear, practical Bible teachings
Quick Insights — short, encouraging nuggets of truth from Scripture
Deep Dives — in-depth discussions and Bible studies
Resources designed to help you fall more in love with Him
My prayer is that as we learn the Word together, your heart will be stirred to love Jesus more, trust Him more fully, and walk more closely with Him.
Right now I’m putting the finishing touches on the very first in-depth Bible study I’ll be offering here: a detailed study on John 2 — The Wedding at Cana.
This study goes far beyond the familiar miracle of turning water into wine.
We’ll explore what this passage reveals about:
The glory of Jesus
His relationship with His mother
The meaning of the “hour” that had not yet come
The abundance and joy He brings to our lives
It’s written to be both rich in insight and very practical for everyday believers.
I’ll also be releasing regular blog posts, including Daily Bread for quick encouragement and The Journey for those who want to go deeper.
For example, check out this recent Quick Insight: Why Jesus Called Himself the Son of Man (And What It Really Means) — it explores one of Jesus’ favorite titles and its powerful connection to Daniel 7.
If you’re hungry to go deeper in God’s Word and know Jesus more clearly, you're in the right place.
If you'd like a simple way to start, you're welcome to download the Bible Study Reflection Journal below. After you enter your email, you'll be taken straight to it.
Then open your Bible–and begin.
Thanks for stopping by. I’m truly glad you're here.
In His grace,
Jeremiah
