If you’ve ever longed to move beyond surface-level reading and truly understand God’s Word, you’re in the right place.
Learning the Word exists to help believers grow in their walk with Christ by carefully studying the Bible — verse by verse, story by story — with the goal of knowing Jesus more intimately.
The name carries a beautiful double meaning. On one level, it’s about learning the written Word of God, the Scriptures. On a deeper level, it’s about plumbing the depths of the Living Word — Jesus Christ Himself, the Word made flesh (John 1:14). The more we study the Bible, the more clearly we see His heart, His character, His love for us, and the glorious things He has accomplished.
I created Learning the Word because I believe every follower of Jesus — whether you’re just beginning your faith journey or have walked with Him for many years — can experience deeper joy, stronger faith, and greater love for Christ through thoughtful, Spirit-led Bible study.
Too often, Christians settle for quick devotionals or familiar stories without seeing the richness and glory hidden in the pages of Scripture. My heart is to change that. I want to create resources that:
Make the Bible clearer and more accessible
Highlight the beauty and sufficiency of Jesus in every passage
Help you apply God’s truth practically to everyday life
Stir your affection for Christ so you walk more closely with Him
That’s why I write both short Quick Insights for daily encouragement and longer Deep Dives and full Bible studies that go verse-by-verse. Each one is written with prayerful care and a desire to point straight to the glory of our Savior.
Regular blog posts in categories like The Journey, Quick Insights, Deep Dives, and Daily Bread
Free and paid resources designed to strengthen your faith
A growing shop of digital products created to bless your time in God’s Word
My first completed study is on John 2 — The Wedding at Cana. It explores the glory of Jesus, the meaning of His “hour,” His relationship with Mary, and the abundant joy He brings into our lives. More studies in the series are already in progress.
Whether you’re here for a quick nugget of truth or ready to dive deep into a full study, I’m glad you’ve come. My prayer is that as we learn the Word together, your heart will burn with fresh love for Jesus and fresh confidence in His promises.
Thanks for being part of this community. I’m excited to walk this road with you.
In His grace,
Jeremiah
