We are all on a journey
as we travel through this land,
our citizenship is in heaven,
although on earth, we now stand.

Each day we are moving
toward our eternal goal,
we have One who goes before us,
who loves us and has redeemed our soul.

All along the way
there may be problems or cares
but we have a burden bearer,
for every care, Jesus will always be there.

So look down life's road to what is ahead
Jesus has shown us the way,
Our goal must be heaven, our focus on Jesus,
soon we shall reach the land of eternal day.
