In awe, I watch the things God does
He blesses two to become one
Drawn together from afar
Past lives lived lost and hard
Attracted coincidentally?
No, indeed ~ God-incidentally.
By geography, they couldn't see
Each other, blocked by natural things
Personal histories, worlds apart
Different stories, from the start
Different wounds, different scars
Different paths, different hearts
How on earth could it be
These two found true love? You see...
First, He drew them close to Him
They fell in Love with God, and then
Prepared to love like crazy, these
Now ripe for sharing Love, oh me...
Oh my, it happened in God's way
Lovestruck by Him one fine day
The rest, they say, is history
A blessed event for all to see
Gathered together joyfully
This man and woman were to be
Wed with God... the two, the three
Now One with Him in Godly Love
The truest, best kind ~ from above.
In awe, I watch what God has done
A victory of Love is won.
