When there’s no sun up in your sky,
Naught but clouds dark and gray;
When troubles come do you stand your ground
Or do you run away?

Plant both your feet upon the rock,
Stand tall with your face to the wind;
Remember God is with you there,
Let His grace come flowing in.

When the winds of sorrow blow so strong
You feel you cannot stand;
When your faith is shaken to the core
And you need a helping hand . . .

Plant both your feet upon the rock,
With your face to the wind stand proud;
Raise both your hands to the Lord above
And sing His praise aloud.

When your heart is broken in your chest
And you feel you want to die;
When you need a reason to go on,
Lift up your face to the sky . . .

Plant both your feet upon the rock,
Stand tall with your face to the wind;
Remember He is always there,
Let His precious love come in.

Plant both your feet upon the rock,
Stand firm with your face to the wind,
When you face life’s trials with God at your side,
My friend, you can’t help but win!
