The Voice of Jesus
There's a voice I seem to hear
Calling out to me
Come to the fountain and drink
That I have prepared for thee!
It's the still small voice of Jesus
Trying to get me to see
He loves me as I am
But he desires to set me free
For I am a poor lost sinner
Lost undone and alone
But Jesus is gently pleading
Dear child, please come home
The world holds no hope for you
It will waste your soul in time
Unless you heed my voice
You will never be mine
Come one and all To me
Is the message I send to earth
There's not one of you I don't love
And desire to give a new birth
I am the Savior of all
Who freely will let me be
But I have given you the choice
To choose the world or me?
I have all you'll ever need
And I'm offering it to you now
If you will lay down your sins
And at my feet humbly bow
There's rest for your weary soul
A comfort and peace I will be
Just give me your burden of sin
Let it all fall on me
Then happiness will flood your soul
There'll be a smile on your face
Your heart will fill with joy
Sin can never take it's place
