Storms of life come
and then, just as quickly, they go
storms never seem to last
except storms deep within a soul.
The winds may rage and blow
rugged waves begin to rise
don't be alarmed or dismayed
Jesus will be by your side.
We have the Master of the wind
who still speaks and the winds obey
He, who walked upon the waters
will bring a better day.
The turmoils of life will surely come
as we walk through this world here below
but we don't have to fear or falter
if we've put our soul in the Master's control.
God won't let His children go under
He'll carry us safely through the storms
If we'll abide in the haven of His rest
holding on to the Savior's strong arm.
