The eyes of our heart must be opened
to see by faith and to believe,
If we only trust in his promises,
His blessings we shall receive.
The armies of God in the heavens
protect us from evil and harm,
As we resist the temptations of the enemy,
we are kept by the Saviour's mighty arm.
If we only look to the Lord
we find we have all we ever need,
By faith in God we see the answers,
to the prayers for which we believe.
Open our eyes Lord each day
that we may see you and your power,
We want to draw closer to you by faith,
as we look to you, every moment and hour.
