I’ve cleaned up my pantry
Rotated goods on each shelf,
Making room for the new
Now - there’s not much space left.
It looks so pretty and inviting.
My family can hardly wait,
For me to place those goods on the table
Where - they will meet their fate.
So I’ll stand back and admire
And make a picture or two – maybe three,
Then thank the Lord for each jar
These human eyes can see.
Without His love and his grace
Every shelf would be bare,
And I feel that each jar
Is an answer to a prayer.
We thank you for each one Lord
And for the nourishment it will bring,
Throughout the winter months
Until - we start all over in the spring.
