My mind is set upon this day
So many blessings came my way
The sun it shone, and made me warm
My day was blessed, and without storm
How beautiful, a familiar face
Of family, and friends, a warm embrace
Conversations of great days gone by
A future to hold, as high as the sky
A touch, a kiss, a child's sweet face
Soft brushed satin, tied up with lace
A flowers fragrance blowing on a breeze
What more do I need, when I have all these?
Oh, the blessings, shall I tell of more?
The simple life, is what I live for
With God all my blessings multiply
And I never know, what he'll bring by
My Lord, he takes good care of me
Always watching, ever earnestly
Without one care, I trust in Him
To give me peace at dusk, again
