Child of God, don't live in years gone by
or former days already passed away
for God dwells with us in the present
He has given the gift of a brand new day.
The future is bright and still lies ahead
He holds each day in His hand
We don't have to worry or fear
By faith, trust God, and in His grace you'll stand.
Tomorrow may never come
we must live one day at a time
God will give us His joy and strength
He'll bless us with true happiness and peace of mind.
Old things have passed away
behold, all things are new
the God of all creation
is always so faithful and true.
Every though you may not have asked
for health, peace, or joy
God has given us His blessings
which Satan cannot destroy.
Let God's love surround you
as each day His blessings are given
His compassions will never fail
He is the reason our life is worth living.
