to sinners far and near,
There is no greater love,
than the love of our Savior, so dear.
God's ways are not our ways
nor are His thoughts our thoughts,
Who would think of given the innocent
to lay down their life, for guilty sinners who are lost?
So great a love we've been given
so kind, and oh so true,
with the love of God in our lives,
we have strength to make it through.
Jesus was the embodiment of love
when He hung on Calvary's rugged tree,
It wasn't the nails which held Him there,
but His love that men might be set free.
God's love will never fail
though all things will pass away,
His love will remain the same,
through eternity and endless days.
Give thanks unto the Father
for sending His only begotten Son,
for no greater love will ere be found,
in earth or heaven above.
