MOTHERING A GIRL When that precious baby you now hold looks up to her mother will she behold grace, joy and patience, trust and love? Will she learn she's more precious; or more costly than gold? God has chosen YOU to help her grow, it's up to you what she will know of how to be a godly woman how to face the storms of life How to live in this dominion and how to be a godly wife We speak to our daughters in the things that we DO! From your actions she chooses to be, or not be, like you. Don't hold her too tightly else she cannot grow Or loosen your touch on her life when she needs you. You'll know. It's the tone of your voice in the words that you say that help her or hinder on her testing day. So while she's still tiny and fits in your arms is the time to be honing your womanly charms. Accept or reject it; this fact is still true The example God gave her of womanhood is YOU! Touch her gently young mother and gentle she'll be for as the twig is bent, so grows the tree. And when she becomes mother with child of her own She'll be the mother you taught her a childhood ago.
