There are lessons to learn every single day,
that I learn each of them quickly is what I pray.
Sadly at times I put off doing what I should;
because I really don’t want to hurt someone good.
Will I ever grow strong enough in my faith,
that when I know what I should do I don’t hesitate?
Will I ever trust enough to completely depend,
without worrying if it will upset my friend?
Of course I will because I've read it’s true,
once you surrender He continues a good work in you.
He’ll never give up it’s a fact on which I can depend;
He’ll even take care of my precious friend.
I was so foolish to worry or even to hesitate;
the truth of His perfect love survives any debate.
I pray this lesson is one I'll never forget again,
if I do as I'm told He’ll take care of my friend.
I no longer need to give into worry or strife,
because my savior’s taught me one of those lessons in life.
