 Forever seeking refuge From calamity, and trial Throwing life away at times While walking every mile Stuck, are we, in selfishness While walking narrow roads Trying hard to understand While carrying heavy loads Some days seem to linger on Feeling all tied up, and bound But Jesus gave us hope, and faith We were lost, but now we're found Life will have its challenges This, we will always know For without the little upsets Our patience couldn't grow Without the daily trials of life And without the bad times too The good times wouldn't mean so much God would be further, from our view For when we go through trials This makes our spirit strong Then soon we'll ably withstand Everything that may go wrong So when the days are stormy And we feel we can't go on Let's look to God for answers For it's there, hope will be found Written by Debbie Looney 10/17/2005 Copyright © All rights reserved |
