The adverse winds blew against my life,
My little ship with grief was tossed,
My Dreams long gone-- heart full of strife,
And all hope seemed lost.---

"Then HE arose" ---- one word of peace.
"There was a calm" ---- a sweet release.

The Tempest great of doubt and fear,
Possessed my mind, no light was there,
To guide , or make my vision clear.
Dark of night -- 'twas more than one could bare.

"Then HE arose" I saw HIS face,
"There was a calm" filled with HIS grace.

My heart was sinking 'neath the waves,
Of deepening test and raging grief,
All seemed lost, and none could save,
There was no peace, no sweet relief.

"Then HE arose", and spoke Saving Words,
"There was calm. It was the `LORD` I heard".

Once my life was nothing, but a sinful flood,
Until all were put beneath His cleansing `BLOOD`!
Now I place my hope,my life in HIS Hands,
Upon HIS spoken Word I shall stand.

Because HE arose", and the WORDS was spoken,
"There was a calm" , all pain, and sin was broken.

Wonder not, that I praise HIM so much,
HIS Love, HIS Joy, my life has touched,
All can have `HIS` Joy, Just ask,
HIS love and peace, to acheive is no task.

"HE arose" and spoke the words,
That all the world may hear --
There was a calm,

" Then GOD said:

"FEAR NOT",
"My Childern",
"I WILL ALWAYS BE NEAR!"
