Much to my surprise
Much to my chagrin
I fell down and hurt myself...
Once again
I never would have thought
I didn't have a clue
That I would fall...
Now that I found the Truth
But I let my guard go down
I relied on only me
I thought I knew it all...
I fell down to my knees
See... falling ain't so bad
If it brings me back to God
He'll dust me off and set me straight...
With Him, I can't go wrong
I fell, and while it's true
It didn't have to be
I'm grateful that it happened...
'Cause I'm back where I best be.
