We have a brand new home
prepared for us by the Lord,
one day we'll enter in
and receive our final reward.
This world is not our home
we our only passing through,
we have heavenly treasures
in our home, beyond the blue.
Home is where the heart is
and our heart is fixed on the Savior,
He'll keep us in His love
within His amazing grace and favor.
Those precious memories of loved ones
who have gone on to their reward,
we cherish until the day,
we shall see them with our Blessed Lord.
The beauty of our heavenly home
will be such a wonder to behold,
but the greatest beauty of all,
will be the Good Shepherd of the fold.
We're only passing through
as we journey through this land,
we're on our way to a better home,
where faithful hearts will forever stand.
