The cards have all been written
And signed - ready to go.
The tree is all decorated
It's lights are all aglow.

Some gifts have been purchased
And wrapped in paper of colors bright,
Waiting to slip under the tree
On Christmas Eve Night.

Everyone is watching weather reports
To choose the best time to shop,
Hopeing - to get all shopping done,
Ahead of bad weather - by beating the clock.

Christmas movies are on T.V.
Carols are sung everywhere.
The Spirit of Christmas is felt,
It seems to be in the air.

Smiles are on all faces
Laughter can be heard,
Christmas soon will be here
The children are spreading the word.

Such a wonderful time of year
A great time to be alive,
To celebreate the birth of a Savior
That came to us - as a mere child.

Enjoy the decorations
The time with family and friends shared,
But don't for get - it is His Birthday Party
And He is the most important person there.
