~HE IS EVER INTERCEDING~

Jesus is ever interceding
according to God's holy will,
He pleads our case before the Father,
and by His Spirit, we are sealed.

What a joy it is to know
we have one who loves us so,
Jesus will also be with us,
as through this life, we go.

The Savior has produced our cause
because of His shed blood on Calvary,
He has given the reasons,
why we should be forgiven and made free.

There was no other god
who held the reasons in His hand,
the nail scars engraved upon His palms
gives us reason by faith to stand.

He can reveal the past
and knows the future of all our days,
Jesus alone can bring them forth,
For He is perfect in all His ways.

We give thanks to our Blessed Lord
who will never leave or forsake His own,
One day we shall live with Him forever,
in our new eternal home.
