Each one of us has something we do well
Although it at times may prove difficult to tell
For Rosie it was this one pattern she could do
She'd make it up with care for anyone she knew
Her situation low estemed in this worlds goods
That didn't stop her from doing what she could
In my neighborhood there was a great demand
For this simple lace made by Rosie's hand
Her grandchildren, grandparents now, few recall her face
But recognize the workmanship in Grandma Rosie's lace
There is a thing for each of us that is ours alone
We are the one God chose to a work none can clone
What is that within your hand simple and true
Not the same by any other as when done by you?
God has placed in your talent a unique touch
Just reach out now, you may not think it much
We may never know how prescious our workmanship will be
Neither did my mother-in-law. But it's priceless to me.
