When things around you appear to be dark
On this journey, do embark
Bow your head, and say a prayer
For God is with you, God does care

When things ahead look terrifying
And all you can do is keep on crying
Keep your chin up, dry those tears
Give to God, all of your fears

Even though the future seems grim
Around the bend, you will see Him
You'll look back on this awful day
Wondering why your trust, was so far away

Remember when you were a little child,
How you trusted Jesus, all the while?
You'd tell Him your worries, and leave them there
Knowing He would always, hear your prayer

Go back to that time, when your heart knew
That God would take good care of you
Just bow your head, and say a prayer
For God is with you, and He does care
