Another one of life’s tests has come and gone,
and I am so grateful for having God to count on.
I didn’t fall to pieces I didn’t rely on my fellow man,
I kept on trusting in God and His awesome plan.
I wasn’t afraid nor did other’s ineptness matter much,
for I knew my Father could heal with a touch.
We still don’t know exactly what occurred,
but that’s OK we’re trusting in God’s Holy Word.
We asked for His guidance we’re following as led,
therefore the future doesn’t cause any dread.
Nothing that occurs surprises our Father,
so we continually surrender instead of trying harder.
He is our strength and our guiding light;
if we’re completely surrendered we’ll always do right.
What the enemy uses as stumbling blocks,
God changes into stepping stones in our daily walk.
Each step bringing us closer to what He intends us to be,
so we’ll be ready to fulfill our destiny.
Being totally surrendered makes life easier to face,
because encountering a test doesn’t mean disgrace.
