As this earth awakens
There's excitement in the air.
A new life abounds
The answer to our prayers.
The robin sings merrily
To welcome the earth each morning.
Daffodils raise their golden heads
To begin the earth's adorning.
Come, join the celebration
Let your pure heart sing;
Rejoice in the rising
Of our Heavenly King.
As I watch the flowers open
Fresh fragrance begins to spread;
Each time is it so neat
To watch them raise their heads.
A small body of clean water
Is flowing in the creek;
Carrying small bites of food
Very calmly and meek.
Daily I watch baby sparrow
Calmly waiting to be fed;
Looking around for it's mother
As it raises it's precious head.
Each example here
Are blessings from God above;
Blessing just for you and I
That are filled with God's love.
