Doing God’s will for me is a very important thing, even if I never see the good it may bring.
God didn’t give me a voice to entertain a crowd, and no stage performance has ever seen me bow.
I wasn’t chosen to lead the Israelites or to part the Red Sea; no such mighty task was set aside for me.
I never walked in a fiery furnace or been in a lions’ den, but I strive to serve my Father any way I can.
I wasn’t born to be President or a Doctor to cure the sick, I wasn’t meant to work a crowd or do magic tricks.
I may not be important in the eyes of man, but I strive every day to share God’s salvation plan.
I never climbed a mountain nor sailed the deep blue sea, but I can say I’ve tried to be the best I could be.
I gave more than I was given and tried the best I could, to follow God’s direction in doing as I should.
I’ve forgiven all who’ve hurt me and repented of my sins, when I reach those pearly gates I’m sure I’ll pass within.
Nevertheless as long as God gives me another day, I submit anew asking Him to guide my way.
“Nothing is as important as fulfilling my destiny, so I offer myself again Lord I offer all of me.
Forgive my transgressions and my inequities; accept my complete surrender I ask You please.
Lead me and guide me give me what to say and do, that every moment I exist I bring honor and glory to You.
