Confirmation

What will I say when death comes knocking?
What will I do between now and then?
I’ve only one life to live to the fullest,
By the grace of God I’ll not walk in sin.

To live from one day to the next
By prayers with God I’ll confine,
For a Christians source of communication
‘Is not a telephone – but a prayer line.

He’ll not put you on hold
When He hears your voice bleed through,
For He has open communication
‘To all – not just a few.

So in that final hour
When deaths angel comes through my door.
I know I have a reservation
It’s been confirmed on Heaven’s Golden Shore.
