In the center of my universe
I see Him kneeling there
Praying for my sinful soul
While I have, nary a care
He built my world to live in
He gave life to me, sin free
He knew I would be weak
So he gave His life for me
He weeps in His silence
Tho His tears seep through
Even though I hurt Him
His love for me just grew
Still, He constantly listens
To all my prayers each day
Tho selfish, or meaningful
He does not judge my way
You're heart is in my universe
Lord God, why can't I see?
You saved me from my sins
You placed Your love in me
In the center of my universe
He hears my ardent prayer
Whenever I feel His need
I can always find Him there
He created me in a universe
My Lord, hears my every call
When I feel unsure or lost
He picks me up, should I fall
He watches over all I do
My transgressions He can see
He accepts me, as I am
He loves, unconditionally
