God has been so good to us, He has blessed and been our dearest Friend
Yet many never thank Him, or ask forgiveness for their sins,
God will bless American again, if His people will seek His face
When men turn from sin, they'll see the power of His amazing grace.
Do you remember when times were different and people joined in prayer?
When souls are humble and seek the Lord, He's promised He'll be there.
America has strayed from the ways of God's truth and righteousness,
Is there any wonder, why some cannot be blessed?
When innocent lives are taken and not even considered a life
We see God's laws have been forsaken and men have turned from right
When marriage is accepted that is opposite from what God has blessed
We see America needs to repent, and of these sins confess.
We sing and pray for God to bless America again,
God is blessing His people; but not the nation's ways of sin.
When America looks to the Lord in humility, seeking His face above,
She will find Him waiting there, to fill this land with peace with love.
If America will turn and bless God, in spirit and in truth,
God will hear from heaven, hearts and lives will be renewed,
Blessings are abundant, when souls love and seek God first,
What this world needs most is Jesus, all across this earth.
