The firm foundation rises high for everyone to see, Witness of Your bedrock love that even includes me. As I absorb this view, sitting all alone This witness crying out is a mountain made of stone!
There is dew upon the grass today, nourishing the earth Reminding me of the gentle way You nourish my heart. Your Word does settle in me as gentle as the dew And once again afresh I catch another glimpse of You.
And that tree line in the distance resounding of your joy There's not a sorrow that can cause it to alloy! My soul rejoices with the earth as Your beauty it unfolds And I survey this newborn day, it's witnessing behold.
As storm clouds gather or my head And winds around me blow I'm secure within Your love No safer place I know. Leola Boyd |
