Are you bewildered, confused or uncertain
as to which direction you should go?
Have you prayed and felt there was no answer
to the questions you wanted to know?
Don't be alarmed or dismayed
for God is still on the throne
His delays are never His denials
for He always hears His own.
The questions of life are many
though answers may sometimes seem few
God holds the future in His hands
He'll always take care of you.
The road to heaven's home is narrow
with detours all along the way,
for a child of God there is no stopping
or looking back to another day.
Keep walking the straight and narrow
don't turn to the left or right
for Jesus could call for us at any hour
the lights of home could be just in sight.
Let His Spirit lead and guide you
until you reach the portals of heaven's shore
then our Lord will say "enter in"
for the narrow way is the only door.
Troubles and trials will all be over
there will be eternal rest for the saints of God
Hold on to the nail scarred hands of Jesus
as onward toward heaven you trod.
