In the course of your life, and your walk with the Lord
you will have dreams and plan far ahead.
But life can take detours and dreams can fall apart
leaving you shattered and broken instead.
Yet, in Christ, the redeemed find purpose in everything
and that purpose is in all we go through.
For the Sovereign Father is the Potter who fashions
His clay into something that’s true.
And the clay on the wheel may get fragile at times
but the Potter adds strength as He goes;
Piecing us back together, while revealing His character
through our pain and the mercy He shows.
Our trials may be difficult…and seasons wear long
but the Potter always stands by the wheel,
Wiping our tears while refining our faith
-speaking truth to the heartache we feel.<
Time passes onward and the beauty of life
is God is moving and constantly blesses.
Then we get to know him as everything…our Adonai
through His Spirit that soothes and refreshes.
And peace becomes the platform we stand on each day
because our brokenness was blessed by His hand.
For the work of the Potter is perfect toward us
to bless what we don’t understand.

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His abundant mercy has begotten us again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, to an inheritance incorruptible and undefiled and that does not fade away, reserved in heaven for you, who are kept by the power of God through faith for salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.
In this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while, if need be, you have been grieved by various trials, that the genuineness of your faith, being much more precious than gold that perishes, though it is tested by fire, may be found to praise, honor, and glory at the revelation of Jesus Christ, whom having not seen you love. Though now you do not see Him, yet believing, you rejoice with joy inexpressible and full of glory, receiving the end of your faith—the salvation of your souls. 1 Peter 1:3-9 NKJV
