| We all have heard the story of Daniel long ago Cast into the lions den for a night or so How God caused the lions, Ole Daniel not to chew Remember this Ole Daniel for he was much like you The devil is like a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour We too need God to keep us by His mighty power Each day we go to work with our worldly protection on Hard hat, boots, safety belt, one by one we don But do we start each day with reading and with prayer Just thanking God, for all the blessings that we share And ask for His protection, as in the lions den we go If we would be like Daniel, the victory we will know When we get to Heaven, just look around for me For I'll be there to greet you, beyond the crystal sea See you there, Ole Daniel Man written by Merrill D.
