As I sat looking up into the sky
I saw my Savior on His throne up on high,
The sacrifice He made wasn't only for me,
He gave His life-- For all the world to see!
I Thought of the stripes --He bore for me
That dark day upon Calvary,
Those beatings were harsh--and oh what pain,
Jesus smiled and said, I would do it again.
Jesus prayed, Father if it be possible
Please remove.... this cup from me,
Yet, Lord, "Thy will be done"
In His darkest hour, He did it for me!
Let us draw closer --To our Savior today
When He returns, No one will be turned away,
To Heaven we'll go, To our mansion on high
We will live forever-- In the sweet by and by!
DO Make JESUS, LORD OF Your Life Today!
