Oh dear Lord I need You
To lead me every day,
And show me the path to follow
Each step along the way.

I need Your nail-scarred hand
Upon me all the time, Lord,
For inner support I need
And find in Your Holy Word.

I need to hear Your voice, Lord
Through every step I take.
And Lord, I need Your support
Whenever I almost break.

Lord, I know I need not run
From my worries and fears,
For as You are here aside me
I will share only happy tears.
