My Solemn Prayer
Oh dear Master, Lord above
I cry unto You now;
Please hold her in Your arms of love
And let her feel Your loving care.
Sweet Jesus, I know I need not worry
Yet, the tears I cannot hide;
Just hold me close, dear Father,
Let me feel You by my side.
Securely hold me in Your arms
Is what I need, dear Father.
I want to listen more closely
To Your loving Word.
Dear Lord, I now feel much better
That You've heard my prayer,
And I feel so secure now
In Your warm, loving care.
