Although the poem above is about the day Mary was lost in Jesus teaching as recorded in Luke. We find her lost in her own grief upon another occasion recorded by John. So we see that Mary was like many of us today, she had what my daddy called a one track mind. A one track mind is not a bad thing as long as the track is good. So if you have a one track mind like Mary and me, fasten your seatbelt, keep your focus eternal, and make sure your on His track.

She is ever linked with Martha and it is Martha who does the talking.

Mary communicated most often through actions. On two separate occasions someone was not happy with Mary's choice in action. On these recorded occasions Jesus said

It is the one track minded person who is most often capable of blind trust for their focus on faith is not easily distracted. It is also true that same person focused on their surroundings or situation needs more help to derail the negative and get back on the right track. That is why we find the same woman who was lost in Jesus teachings (Luke10:38-41) unaffected by His drawing near (John 11:20) & capable of such a costly service (John 12:3-5)

Although a person with a one track mind may seem unconcerned about an event or circumstance, it is far more likely they are simply unaware due to their focus at the time.
