TRIAL OF OUR FAITH
The trying of our faith is more precious than gold
It will make us strong and more like the Lord,
The things which we go through down here below,
Prepare us for eternity, and for our final reward.
Our God will remove impurities from our lives
Leaving only the attributes of our Loving Savior,
As we submit to the Refiner's fire,
We know we are in his divine grace and favor.
We shall overcome in all we walk through
We are given patience and have a blessed hope in Him,
He will remove the old and make all things new,
A crown of life, we will receive, if we endure until the end.
So keep the faith, hold on my friend
Jesus sees your every care,
Blessed are those who endure,
They find God's grace will always be there.
