We are runners in an earthly race Headed toward the final finish line, We press on by faith in God, Knowing we must redeem the time. There are many things which hinder And, stumbling blocks along the way, But when we give our cares to Jesus He will keep us, as we trust Him and pray. The weights of sin are very subtile Some are not easily recognized, Satan tries to gain a foothold, By his manifest schemes and lies. We must have the Word of God Hidden deep within our heart and soul, When we believe God's promises, His faithfulness, we shall behold.
