Once an old time country preacher, in the hills of Tennessee
Preached a message long and loud on ignorance and apathy.
Many souls are lost through ignorance,
they never hear the Word
Just like you and me would be if we had never heard

Many are lost through apathy, because they just don't care
And so in my conclusion ----- I'd like for you to share.
Brother ---- You there ---- In the front row
Share with us, my brother, and tell us what you know.
The big man stood and squared himself ---
"You want me to share?"
Preacher ---- I don't know --- And little do I care.

A hush fell over that country church,
and the Holy Ghost stepped in
The big man fell to his knees and cried,
"Please save my soul from sin."
Revival broke that summer night, in the hills of Tennessee
And removed from him forever ignorance and apathy.
