When we are discouraged And face tremendous grief It is during times of our troubles That Jesus sends us relief. Walking with Jesus keep singing He is our source of joy and peace Always be mindful of His promise One day all suffering will cease. He has cried tears of sadness And He has felt our every pain Our path He has walked before Give praise and glory to His name. Take time to listen to the spirit When it softly whispers, be still As it promises us great joy and comfort Beyond the heartache of Calvary ’s hill. Grey clouds may darken the sky And the earth may begin to quake Remember our life has many struggles On the journey upward that we take.
