Isaiah 61:1

The Spirit of Adonai ELOHIM is Upon me

His Spirit is upon me today
So that I may preach to the poor
And to those who are deeply in need
To show them the open door

He has sent me to heal broken hearts
And to be there for those who need Him
To free up the captives indeed
And to show His Great freedom to them

O Lord up in Heaven above,
May I always be willing to do
What you have said in your Word
And what you have told me to do.

The Spirit of Adonai ELOHIM (The Lord G-d) is upon me,
because ADONAI (the Lord) has anointed me to announce the good news to the poor.
He has sent me to heal the brokenhearted; to proclaim freedom to the captives.

The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is upon me,
for the Lord has anointed me to bring good news to the poor.
He has sent me to comfort the brokenhearted and to proclaim
that captives will be released and prisoners will be freed.
